I woke up from a dream on 5/29/22 and was immediately overcome with the fear of the Lord. I knew it was God speaking to me and I felt a weighty responsibility to steward this encounter. The dream was incredibly vivid, eerie, and haunting. The moment I woke up, I wrote down the dream in its entirety. Over the next few days and months, I began praying that God would give me wisdom, knowledge, and discernment regarding this dream and that He would speak clearly to assign language to the significance and symbolism He wants conveyed. Upon waking up, I immediately knew that 1) this was a warning message from God Almighty and 2) this was not just for my own knowledge, but there would come a time when He asks me to proclaim this message and warn people with His love and compassion. My heart has been gripped by this warning because I am overwhelmingly sobered by the gravity of eternity and the souls that the Lord is fighting for in this last hour. So please know, this is a message I have prayerfully waited to release until the Lord confirmed His timing. However, now, the urgency in my spirit has never been so strong.

Three days ago (8/12/22) I was scrolling through instagram and I saw a short clip of a new music video that had been released by DaBaby called Tough Skin. My spirit was immediately grieved by what I saw–it was a nearly identical image to what I had seen in my dream on 5/29/22. I knew that my dream was a spiritual representation of what is happening in our nation, but I was in no way prepared to see the literal visual picture. Immediately, I knew the Lord was confirming NOW was time to release this dream and His warning. Here is the clip I saw:

Dream on 5/29/22

In this dream, I was observing a scene where everyone on earth was running from monsters. I remember one monster being in the water and taking the form of a shark, but it wasn't a shark. An older man and younger boy were running from it where the sand met the shore. On land, I saw a circular monster with an innumerable amount of teeth. This monster would suck people’s souls when it caught up with them. Everyone was running for their lives, but every now and then, someone would slow down to look back. As I was watching this play out, I just remember feeling like ‘the only way to keep away is to not look back’.

Suddenly, the scene changed and I saw a woman (brunette, short hair) who was heavy set. I believe she was holding a book by its spine, down by her side. I saw her walking down this long hallway and I wasn’t sure where she was going. Eventually she joined another woman (tall, thin, short hair) who had a mocking/sarcastic spirit. Eventually those two women met a very large, tall woman with a security-guard presence, blonde short hair. She led them both further down a hallway and through an area that you had to crouch your head to step up and through a door into another room…but once you were in the room the ceiling was normal height. It was a square room on the corner of a building. It had vertical rectangle windows lining the 2 walls that were on the building exterior. Looking through the windows, I saw cross after cross lined up in what looked like a prison yard. The people on these crosses appeared to be severely suffering and they were extremely malnourished–dying, but none were dead yet. I knew that some of them had been up there for over a year–a very long time. But when I looked closer at them, I noticed that they only had a single piece of barbed wire tied around their hands and feet to hold them instead of crucifixion nails. It was just enough to hold them onto the cross, but did not cause any harm to them.

Then, the tall woman with the mocking spirit pointed to a woman that she could see through the front windows. This woman was sitting in the back of a carriage and being paraded through the people-lined streets. She was crouched over in the back of a carriage and was wrapped in a blanket– she appeared fearful and shameful. As the tall woman looked at her, she said mockingly–“there goes another”. And the first woman from the dream replied to her-“read a book”.

Then we looked through the left windows—the people on the cross were severely malnourished and paper thin. I remember a man with tattoos covering his body, looked me directly in the eyes with a subtle grin, and slightly rotated to the side so I could see just how thin he was. I had this sense that he was showing me because he was, for some reason, proud. They all looked into the windows, directly at us. The people on the crosses had no bodily wounds and they were clean looking–no dirt, blood, ect. I knew that they hadn’t been tortured and forcibly put up there, but that they had willinging put themselves there.

Then the tall woman with the mocking spirit looked at one of the men on the cross and said sarcastically– “no wonder he has been up there so long.” When I looked at this man, he only had one leg but the other one was like a prosthetic metal crutch that he kept pushing himself up with. The first woman replied “read a book”. And then I woke up.

Prayerful Interpretation

OUR TIME IS SHORT:

In my dream, monsters were chasing after people's souls on land and sea. Revelation 12 discusses how in the End Times, near the return of Jesus, Satan will wage war in the spiritual realm against the angel Michael. Satan will ultimately lose and be cast down to earth where he will roam with his demons, unrestrained, to accuse and deceive the people on earth. Whereas before this time, Satan had to approach God to legally request permission to accuse people of the earth (think about the book of Job). This time on earth will be so severe because Satan knows that his time is about to run out and Jesus will return (Rev. 12:12)! His main objective is to deceive as many people as He can to prevent them from surrendering to Jesus. I feel God issuing such an urgent warning that the Day of the Lord is quickly approaching. In His great love and mercy, He is sending a warning in order to draw people to Himself so that they will be saved from His wrath on the Day of Judgment. (Matthew 4:17 “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!”)

Revelation 12:12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!

2 Peter 3:8-10 But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

THE BABYLON DECEPTION

As I was praying over my dream, I knew the tall woman with the mocking spirit had great significance and I felt the Lord confirm that she symbolizes the spirit of Babylon from the book of Revelation. In this dream her mocking, prideful spirit permeated the entire prison yard–as those hanging on the cross were somehow following her leadership. I also felt the Lord reveal that the large security guard female was, in fact, the “Beast” or “Antichrist” system in the End Times–simply overseeing Babylon the Great and watching as soul after soul was being deceived to be ‘crucified’ for self.

To further explain this significance I will need to give context for the meaning of Babylon the Great/The Great Harlot in the End Times. Historically, Babylon was a city known for trading worship of God for worship of self and other idols. Babylon served as an opponent to God and His people and as a symbol for human arrogance and pride, especially in rejection of God. In Revelation 18–Babylon the Great reveals her pride and arrogance, once again–she ultimately believes she will escape the wrath and judgment of God. She believes the first lie Satan ever told, in Genesis, to Eve in the Garden–”surely you will not die!” However, we see this in not the case in Revelation 18:8 when in a single day: “death and mourning and famine” will overtake her and “she will be completely consumed by fire for the Lord God who judges her is mighty.”

When Babylon/Harlot is used in the context of the end times, we should understand that scripture is simply using Old Testament Babylon as a metaphor for reality in the end times. She is attractive to those seeking worldly pleasures. Her customers are people attracted by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life (1 John 2:15-17). She leads people into immorality, provoking God’s wrath. Although she promises pleasures, she ultimately brings about ruin. This is indicated by the cup she holds, which is golden on the outside, but the inside is full of abominations and immorality. Revelation 16:19 and 14:8 make it clear that she and her unrepentant “customers” will ultimately face God’s wrath. The harlotry metaphor likens sexual intimacy with worship. Sexual intimacy is proper only when given lovingly to one’s spouse. Giving it to another is acting as a harlot, and it provokes the spouse to righteous jealousy. Similarly, worship is only proper when given lovingly to God. Giving it to another is acting as an idolater, and it provokes God to righteous jealousy (Ex 20:4-5). The Great Harlot/Babylon of Revelation represents all forms of idolatry. This includes both the false beliefs themselves and the people who follow them. Ultimately then, Babylon/Harlot represents all of the unbelievers of the world.1

I think it is important to point out the destruction of Babylon as depicted in Revelation. Revelation 14:8 says Babylon the Great is fallen, “she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”Through this, we can gain great insight into the description of its followers. They are not only lovers of self and idolaters (exalting anything else in this world above God), but there is a major theme of sexual immorality (which God defines as anything outside of sex between one man, and one woman, in the confines of marriage). Then in Revelation 18:21 her final destiny is revealed, “Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, ‘So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more.” This parallels the millstone theme in Mark‬ ‭9:42‬ ‭“But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around your neck.”

So with this context of Babylon, I feel the Lord urgently calling us to examine our souls–who are we aligned with (Satan and his attractive, but destructive Babylon system or Jesus and His eternal Kingdom)? On the Day of Judgment, when we stand before God Almighty– what will he say to us? I felt the Lord specifically highlight the scriptures below for this dream: the deception of the Babylon system and then His invitation of reconciliation in James 4:4-10. Father, would you open our eyes to see your truth!

2 Timothy 3:1-5 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly.

1 John 2: 15-17 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other.

James 4:4-10 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him. And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

ARE YOU DYING FOR SELF, OR TO SELF?

As I began writing out the dream, I came to the scene of the prison yard--as I wrote about seeing row after row of people hanging on crosses--the Lord spoke so clearly to me, he said, Emily--they are dying FOR self, not TO self.

All of the people hanging on the crosses were clean: they had the appearance of what you would not think, they didn't look like prisoners or bad people, they looked like good wholesome people. I knew that they had not been tortured and forcibly put up there, but that they had willinging put themselves there. 2 Corinthians 11:14 says that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, meaning he will appear good and wholesome–he won’t always come across looking evil or demonic. But the Bible says in James 3:15-6 selfishness is “earthly, unspiritual, and demonic” and that wherever there is selfishness there is also “disorder and evil of every kind”.

As previously discussed, all of the people hanging on the crosses were caught up in and deceived by the Babylon system–they were chasing the pleasures and dreams of the world and worshiping the god of Self. As a result–Materialism, Humanism, and Pleasure had become their idols. They were also caught in the lie that God’s wrath and judgment was either not real or that, regardless, His wrath would not fall on them. This pride and arrogance of heart was manifested in their willingness to die for SELF (their will, passions, beliefs, agendas) by hanging on the cross.

The other component that struck me was that their suffering was seemingly not ending–these people had been hanging on these crosses for a very long time. The Lord brought Revelation 9:5-6 to mind where it says, “Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.”

BUT JESUS CALLS US TO NOT DIE FOR SELF, BUT TO DIE TO SELF AND LIVE FOR CHRIST!

Luke 9:23-26 (AMP version) And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross daily[expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake, he is the one who will save it[from the consequences of sin and separation from God]. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], and loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed [here and now] of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and the glory of the [heavenly] Father and of the holy angels.

Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

Mark 8:34-38 Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

Luke 14:25-27 A large crowd was following Jesus. He turned around and said to them, “If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.

‘DO NOT LOOK BACK’–As in the Days of Lot:

In my dream, when the monsters were roaming the earth and sea–I somehow knew that the only way to keep away from them was to NOT LOOK BACK. In Luke 17 it says that when Jesus returns, it will be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot (Genesis 19). The term “do not look back” reminds me of Lot’s wife–she looked back at the city of Sodom & Gomorrha and was caught in God’s wrath. God had mercifully offered her family a plan to be saved if they would just leave everything behind and flee the city. But there was something in her old life that she mourned the separation from which caused her to look back and ultimately brought her destruction. She wasn’t willing to surrender and let go of whatever it was. Luke 17:32-33 says “Remember what happened to Lot’s wife! If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it.” When we come to Jesus, we have to be willing to let go of everything for the sake of following him (Luke 14:33).

Just as a side–when the Bible references Jesus’ return as being similar to the days of Noah and Lot, it not only discusses morally/culturally/religiously what is similar but it says that life will appear to be “business as usual” when Jesus returns (Luke 17: 26-30). Meaning, many people will be carrying on with life as usual and with no sense of awareness or urgency for the hour that they are living in. God says no one can know the exact time Jesus will return, but as believers we are called to not be caught off guard, be prepared, and to know the signs and season of His coming.

REMOVE THE MIXTURE: LET GO OF THE LUKEWARM LIFE

At the end of my dream, I saw a man hanging on the cross with a single leg and the metal prosthetic crutch. The Lord revealed very clearly that this man represented a man of mixture. He was someone who likely claimed to be a christian, but had never really been crucified with Christ–He was living in the world and was OF IT. Regardless of being ‘religious’ he was still serving the god of Self through actions, sin, self-will, pleasure, and compromise. He had the knowledge of God without surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus. I believe God spoke this same revelation through woman in the dream who kept replying "read a book."She had the knowledge of truth that came from the book, but the head knowledge alone did not lead to a change of heart and actions--she still aligned with the spirit of Babylon.

James 1: 22-25 “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.”

Titus‬ ‭1:15-16 Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.

This man never had a true salvation moment of surrendering everything to Jesus and repenting (confession + turning to God). The Lord reminded me of the church of Laodicea in Revelation (3:15-22) that received a warning letter for their lukewarm life–a life of mixture, compromise, and apathy. But God, in His extravagant mercy, extends an invitation to repent, turn from indifference, and walk in salvation and victory in Christ! Jesus draws a line in the sand–there are only two options in this life. You are either for or against Him. In Matthew 12:30 Jesus says, “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.”

Revelation‬ ‭3:15-22 “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked”... “I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.”

JESUS GIVES A GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR A SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS

As I was praying for discernment on the significance of the woman in the carriage being paraded through the streets, covered in a blanket, distraught with fear and shame–I heard the Lord say “I will give them garments of praise for their spirit of heaviness.” Yes, pride and serving the god of Self is what drove these people to the cross–but their motives were actually deeply rooted in fear and shame. Pride was the mask for the true pain and brokenness they felt in the depths of their soul.

But I declare, the Lord is saying (Isaiah 61)–He will give comfort and joy to all who are mourning, He will give you beauty for your ashes, and He will give you a garment of praise for your spirit of heaviness! Instead of your shame you will have double honor, says the Lord. And instead of confusion you will rejoice in your portion from the Lord! Where you were once clothed with shame and fear, the Lord says He will clothe you with the garments of salvation and cover you with the robe of righteousness! Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound!

JESUS IS COMING: So how should I prepare?

2 Corinthians 5:10 says, “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.” By nature, we are all separated from God. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). God is holy, and as sinful humans, we don’t measure up to His perfect standard. Without Him, we will always choose to live for ourselves–worshiping the god of Self. We are inherently sinful, and “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Revelation 21: 8 says that on the Day of the Lord (meaning, when Jesus returns and He judges the earth) “cowards, unbelievers, corrupt, murderers, immmoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur [Hell].”

BUT GOD– “so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Christ became the final sacrifice for our sins. He paid for our salvation with His blood.

God’s love bridges the gap of separation between you and Him. When Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave, He paid the penalty for your sins. The Bible says, “‘He Himself bore our sins’ in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by His wounds you have been healed’” (1 Peter 2:24). Romans 10:13 says, “Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”

To receive Christ as Lord & Savior :

  • Admit you’re a sinner (Romans 3:23).

  • Ask forgiveness and turn away from your sins.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Colossians 1: 13-14 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 1:7-8 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

  • Believe (have faith) that Christ died for your sins on the cross and that ONLY by His sacrifice you are saved–not by good works or by being a 'good person'.

Ephesians 2:8 (AMP version) For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God

  • Receive Christ into your heart and life.

Mark 1:5 “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

Romans 10:9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

If you are ready to die to yourself and live for Christ please feel free to use this prayer as a guidance to accept Jesus as the Lord & Savior of your life:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I repent of all of my sins–and I need your help to turn from them and live for you. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I know that it is only by the sacrifice of your blood and body that I can be declared righteous and have a right relationship with You on this earth and for eternity in heaven. I surrender my life to you now. I chose to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will–to love and serve you forever. In Jesus name, amen.”

If you said this prayer–please reach out to me! I am so proud of you–this is HUGE and nothing short of eternity!! I want to walk along this journey with you–so please know that you are never alone!

2 Corinthians 2:14-16 Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume.
